Police: Driver Strikes Garage, Leaves Scene

A woman was charged for leaving the scene of an accident after hitting a gas station garage, police said. 

Sleepy Hollow police responded to a call on March 3 at 2:16 p.m. that a car had struck the garage door of the Mobil Gas Station at 215 North Broadway and driven off.

The caller said he was able to take a picture of the license plate. Police located the woman on Clinton Street and requested the car be impounded. She was transported to headquarters where she was issued a summons.
