Police: Sleepy Hollow Driver Hits Three Cars

Sleepy Hollow police charged a 65-year-old resident with DWI following the Pocantico Street accident.

A 65-year-old Sleepy Hollow man was charged with DWI after reportedly hitting three parked cars, police said.

Police received a call on April 26 at 6:51 p.m. for a car accident with possible injuries on Pocantico Street. Police requested an ambulance and a tow truck at the scene.

Police said a car with NY plates had struck three parked cars.

The driver was transported to Phelps Memorial Hospital. Police followed with a blood kit to test his alcohol level.

Police contacted one car's owner to notify them of damage to their car while they were unable to reach the other two immediately.

At Phelps, police charged the driver with driving while intoxicated.
