
Following two entries into and minor thefts of things in Webber Park area cars, Sleepy Hollow police arrested a local teen.
A New Broadway resident reported to police on July 26 that his car had been entered sometime overnight with a good amount of change stolen from it. The person said he had parked his car on the street with a glass case of change containing around $25 in it which was now missing.
A Gordon Avenue resident said that afternoon that she had parked overnight with her doors unlocked and returned by 11 p.m. on this day to find her portable DVD player had been taken.
On July 30, an 18-year-old Sleepy Hollow man was arrested and charged with petty larceny.
