Recycling, Shredding Day Coming To Greenburgh
Residents will have the opportunity to dispose of bulk metal and non-metal items, e-waste, vehicle batteries, textiles and books.

GREENBURGH, NY — Recycling and shredding day is coming up for the town of Greenburgh.
From 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 28, the Town of Greenburgh Department of Public Works will be hosting the third Recycling Day for Greenburgh residents.
It will be held at the Town DPW Yard, 100 Sprain Road in Ardsley.

Officials said residents will have the opportunity to dispose of bulk metal and non-metal items, e-waste, vehicle batteries, textiles and books.
Residents will also be able to pick up free wood chips that were made from Christmas trees collected earlier in the year.

The Westchester County Mobile Paper Shredder will be at the event as well from 9 a.m. to noon to offer shredding services on a first-come, first-served basis.
