River View Recommends Brooklyn Spirits

Welcome to Hipsturbia, says the New York Times, where Brooklyn has landed and left its mark in the Rivertowns. (Though Patch may have said it first in my Brooklyn vs. Westchester smackdown.)

In any case, you can find evidence of Brooklyn people and its products throughout various local shops. Here at River View Wine and Spirits, owner William Arroyo is proudly displaying several artisanal spirits from Brooklyn on his front counter. 

Red Hook, Brooklyn was a neighborhood whose waterfront was hit especially hard by Hurricane Sandy, so you can put your money in a good place by sipping this whiskey!
