Tarrytown Home Burglary Under Investigation
Tarrytown police are still searching for a suspect in a forced break-in that resulted in the possible theft of jewelry.

Tarrytown police detectives on Friday reported that a house break-in reported in mid-April was still an open case.
A McKeel Avenue resident called police on April 19 at 12 p.m., saying she believed someone broke into her home.
Officers on the scene confirmed that there was forced entry into the residence and requested a K9 unit be sent for an area search. Sleepy Hollow Police Department's dog was not available at the time.

Officers reported securing the scene several minutes later.
Tarrytown detectives report that among the items believed to be stolen was jewelry, but as of May 3, they are "still awaiting the list" from the homeowner.
