Tarrytown Police Make Drug Sale Bust

Three sale and possession arrests were made in a case under further investigation.

Tarrytown Police report the arrest of two men and one woman on drug sale and possession charges.

The Greenburgh Task Force on March 5 at 2:11 p.m. requested officers for assistance on Central Avenue and in the Walgreens parking lot for a drug investigation.

Tarrytown officers reported one man under arrest for marijuana possession. Further investigation resulted in the arrests of a woman for criminal sale of drugs and another male for criminal possession.

The two men were released with a court date and the woman was arranged with bail set at $2,500 cash and transported to Westchester County Jail in Vallhala.

Naya K. Austin, 18, of Peekskill, charged with criminal sale of a controlled substance in the third;

Daniel J. Gressel, 22, of Shrub Oak, charged with unlawful possession of marijuana;

And a second male, whose name was not released due to ongoing investigation, charged with criminal possession of controlled substance in the 7th.
