Tarrytown School Budget Results Announced
Voters in the Tarrytown school district were asked to OK a spending plan of $93.5 million.
TARRYTOWN, NY — Voters in the Tarrytown school district went to the polls Tuesday to decide whether to approve the 2023-24 budget.
The proposed spending plan of $93.5 million was approved 459 to 106, according to unofficial results.
The budget is 8.15 percent higher than the current budget.

The tax levy is expected to rise just 3.08 percent, which is below the state's tax cap.
Two incumbent board members — John Paine and Deborah Taylor — were running unopposed for re-election.
