Trapped in Tarrytown Train Station Elevator

There are been several reports since the renovation of commuters getting stuck in the Tarrytown Metro-North train station elevators.

A man called Tarrytown police from a Metro-North train station elevator saying he was stuck on March 8 at 8:52 a.m.

Police and fire departments responded, but reported that they didn’t have a key to the elevator.

Metro-North police were notified and opened the elevator. The man was reportedly fine and went on his way.

Incidents of the new elevators at the train station getting stuck with someone in them have been reported several times to police: on Jan. 30, 2012on Feb. 7, 2012; on Nov. 7, 2012.
