Volunteer New York! Award Ceremony Offers Virtual Tickets

TARRYTOWN, NY — The 42nd annual Volunteer Spirit Awards, presented by Volunteer New York!, is officially sold out.

However, if any member of the public still wants to attend by viewing the event online as it is happening, they may do so by purchasing a virtual ticket, the organization announced.

Executive Director Jeanette Gisbert said it's been more than 1,200 days since the nonprofit hosted an in-person Volunteer Spirit Awards event.

"We couldn't be more excited that we will be gathering on April 8 to celebrate volunteerism," she said, "and yet due to the limited seating in the ballroom this year, we determined it was also necessary to allow more people access to this event and to ultimately make our 2022 Volunteer Spirit Awards event a hybrid one with a virtual ticket offering, now that our in-person tickets have sold out."

The virtual ticket offering is $50 and is available through this website.

The event, which is being held at the Westchester Marriott Grand Ballroom in Tarrytown, will take place from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Friday, April 8.
