Volunteer Coordinator
Hammond Museum and Japanese Stroll Garden is seeking a Volunteer Coordinator with experience in organizing and communicating with people to help coordinate its volunteers (about 20-30). The Volunteer Coordinator will work directly with the Museum's executive director as well as its board member who oversees the garden.

Food Pantry Volunteers
The City School District of New Rochelle is in need of volunteers to support its monthly food pantry held at Isaac E. Young School. Supported by Feeding Westchester, volunteers will help organize and distribute food as well as help break down the pantry area once all of the food has been distributed to the community. Volunteers may be required to bend and/or lift up to 15 to 20 pounds.
Date: Tuesday, July 25 from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m.

Voter Pre-Registration Workshop for Teens
Voting is an important way we show up in the community and one way we engage in the political process. Join Volunteer New York! to learn about the voter registration process as well as get pre-registered to vote (if you are 16 or 17) so that you are already registered when you turn 18. Get your questions answered by friendly Volunteer New York! staff. All attendees receive community service credit for participating. This is a virtual opportunity that takes place on Zoom for participants ages 13 to 18.

Outdoor Movie Series
Wartburg is hosting an outdoor movie series for its senior residents and it needs volunteers to help set up the event, work the concessions stand, direct attendees to the location and clean up after the event. Volunteers will meet on the Meadow; in case of rain, the event will move indoors to the Adult Day Care building. Perfect for volunteers 16+.
Date: Thursday, July 27 from 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Outdoor Carpentry Assistant for the Parks
A volunteer is needed to assist the Westchester County Parks staff carpenter with various jobs in the parks. This role is ideal for a volunteer who can perform physical labor, including carrying tools and supplies in and out of trails and assisting with the building of small bridges, fences and other small structures in the parks. No carpentry experience is required — this position is right for anyone with a willingness to learn; retirees with carpentry skills; individuals who want to develop their carpentry skills; or any volunteer who loves working outdoors, improving their local parks, and giving back to their communities.
