  1. Port Jefferson Ecolin Jewelers store is now open in Stony Brook Village. The jewelers started their business in Stony Brook fifty years ago to relocate to Port Jeff, where they stayed for decades. Now, the store is back in the Stony Brook area, precisely at 137 Main Street in Stony Brook Village. (LongIsland.com)
  2. Jazz Loft features Duke Ellington's Nutcracker today at 7 p.m. The songs will be performed by 17 musicians of the Jazz Loft Big Band. Tickets: $35 for adults, $30 for seniors, $25 for students, $20 for children. Kids under five are free. (Three Village Patch)
