Bahama Breeze Set to Open

Florida-based restaurant chain Bahama Breeze is set to open its first location in New York next week.

The Smith Haven Mall location will open on Feb. 3 according to Long Island Business News. The restaurant is part of a family of chains owned by Darden Restaurants that includes Olive Garden, Red Lobster and LongHorn Steakhouse. 

The 7,100 square-foot restaurant will serve Caribbean-style cuisine and island spirited drinks and will include a 1,700 square-foot outdoor patio dining area. This is the chain's 37th nationwide location and will be situated outside the mall by Dick's Sporting Goods and the Cheesecake Factory.
