  1. A bicyclist from Massapequa was airlifted in serious condition to Stony Brook Hospital on Saturday morning. A Sedan struck the 41-year-old man on North Ocean Avenue in Holtsville. (Patch)

  • Cameras caught a man ripping down a Black Lives Matter sign at Stony Brook University. The incident happened outside Unitarian Universalist Fellowship at midnight on Oct. 26. Police are asking anyone with information about the matter to contact the police. (Three Village Patch)
  • Emma Clark Library wants to help those considering buying a car online. IT manager Bob Johnson will be at the library on Jan. 9 at 7 p.m. to answer all your questions and how to start the purchase process. (Patch)
