Cannabis And Cash Seized From Smoke Shop On Long Island: Police
He sold the cannabis without a license, police say.
CENTEREACH, NY — A smoke shop employee was arrested after he sold cannabis without a license in Centereach on Thursday, Suffolk County police said.
After police conducted an investigation with Town of Brookhaven investigators, building inspectors, and the fire marshal, they obtained a search warrant for A&M Blue Dream Smoke Shop at 1456 Middle Country Road, police said.
Police said they seized cannabis products, flavored vape products, and more than $1,000 in cash.

Syed Ali, 24, of Mount Sinai, was arrested around 12 p.m. and charged with unauthorized sale of cannabis products without a license, police said.
He is slated to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip at a later date.
