- Nearby – from Port Jefferson Patch: A motor was reported stolen from an inflatable raft at Setauket Yacht Club in Port Jefferson on Aug. 4. The motor, a Tohatsu 9.8-horsepower engine, was valued at around $2,000. The theft is thought to have taken place between 6 p.m. on July 28 and 10 a.m. on Aug. 4.
