Cops: Suspect Stole Credit Card, Charged More Than $1,000

Fraudulent purchase was made at Target in South Setauket.

Suffolk County police are searching for a woman who they charged more than $1,000 on a stolen credit card on Aug. 22 at Target in South Setauket.

According to a police report, the woman used an American Express credit card that was stolen from a wallet in a vehicle on Aug. 21. 

Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest in this case. Anyone with information on this incident can confidentially call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
