A burglary on Neal Path in East Setauket prompted the Suffolk County Police Department to respond with a helicopter search of the area late Sunday night. Nearby residents heard loud noises and observed what they described as a low-flying helicopter flying overhead past midnight late Sunday night into Monday. A police spokesperson said squad cars and canine units were also searching the area. No arrests were made in connection with the incident.
