- If you have unwanted items but need to learn how to dispose of them properly, check the 2023 recycling events schedule from Emma Clark Memorial Library. These events are free and open to the public. (ECML)
- Ward Melville High School students created balloon-powered vehicles for their physics studies! The mini vehicles were built with recycled materials and demonstrated how energy, motion and force work. Visit the link to see a photo gallery of their creations speeding down the school's hall. - Long Island resident Courtney Gabrus spreads a positive message to those in the community and nationwide. She was born with muscular dystrophy but didn't let these challenges define her.
