  1. The Town of Brookhaven's Youth Bureau accepts gently used coats, scarves, gloves, and hats donations. The Annual INTERFACE Coat Drive will be held through Feb. 10 to help those needing warm clothing items this winter. If you'd like to support this cause, you can drop your items at Modern Realty and Management LTD, 260Nesconset Highway, Suite 11, Stony Brook. (Patch)
  2. Emma Clark Library launches the Kids Winter Reading Challenge! The program starts on Jan. 23 and goes through Mar. 12. Kids of all ages are welcome to participate as an excellent incentive for their future passion for literature. All details can be found here. (Emma Clark Library)
