- Emma Clark Memorial Library is now offering free access to Hoopla! The digital service offers classes through MasterClass. You need a library card to take advantage of the platform's content. (ECML)
- Gallery North in Setauket will host a screen printing workshop. Local artist Jack D'Ambrosiowill teach the class on Saturday, Jan. 28, at 2:30 p.m. The gallery is at 90 N Country Road, Setauket. (Patch Events)
- Three Village Chamber of Commerce has three social events coming up! If you are interested in participating in networking gathers in the neighborhood, the first event of 2023 is set for Feb.15 at the Webster Bank in Stony Brook. Visit the link I've shared for details. (Three Village CofC)
- Winter LI Restaurant Week starts Sunday. Some restaurants in Port Jefferson will offer three-course prix fixes through Feb. 5. The participating eateries in the Village are Pasta Pasta, Nantuckets and Ruvo’s. (Port Jefferson Chamber of Commerce)

- Long Island’s First Hall of Fame features all about music and entertainment in the neighborhood. If you are looking forward to attending some concerts this winter, Hall's website features the schedule of events for January. (LI Music Hall of Fame)
- Port Jefferson Winter Ice Festival is this weekend! The free community event is set for Jan. 28-29 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on both days. Ice sculptures by Rich Daly of Ice Memories Inc. will be displayed. The ice rink will be open, and food vendors will be everywhere! (Port Jeff CofC)
- Rage Room Long Island kicks off March 3 in Selden. It will be an exciting game for those who need to relieve stress and life's frustrations. Participants will be able to pick a hammer, crowbar, and other tools to smash TVs, microwaves, and other electronics. (Newsday/Subscription Required)
