Five Below Will Open In July In Former East Setauket Waldbaum's
The store plans a July 1 grand opening, taking over part of the former Waldbaum's store, next to a future Amazon Fresh market.
EAST SETAUKET, NY — After sitting vacant for six years, the anchor store at 4054 Nesconset Highway in East Setauket will once again be open for business. Part of the former Waldbaum's space will become an Amazon Fresh market, and the remaining square footage was taken over by discount retailer Five Below.
According to Greater Long Island, a sign in the store announces a grand opening date of July 1. The store is currently hiring, according to the sign.
The location is not yet listed on the retailer's website. Five Below, a Philadelphia-based chain, sells items that primarily cost $5 and under, aimed at teens and tweens.

No opening date has been given yet for the Amazon Fresh location, one of the first slated to open on Long Island, along with an Oceanside store.
