1. The Village Green in Setauket will host a free walk-thru nativity with live animals, actors and refreshments! This event kicks off today at 5 p.m.! The Caroline Episcopal Church hosts the event. Updates: This event has been canceled due to weather conditions. (Three Village Patch)
2. Some businesses in Stony Brook village offer deals on New Year's Eve and New Year's Day. Mirabelle and other local restaurants are offering brunch and the Hilton Garden Inn is advertising a special pack for guests who want to relax over the weekend. (Google Events)
3. What will you do on the first day of 2023? If you want to do something different or like to be in contact with nature, join thousands of New Yorkers and participate in the 12th annual First Day Hikes.
