Holiday Toy, Pet Food Collection Underway In East Setauket

The drive will benefit Toys for Tots and Save-A-Pet, Legis. Steve Englebright's office says.

EAST SETAUKET, NY — Suffolk County Legislator Steven Englebright's office is hosting two holiday collection drives at his East Setauket office.

Toys are being collected until Dec. 13 for Toys for Tots, and pet food is being collected until Dec. 20 for Save-A-Pet Animal Rescue in Port Jefferson Station. Toys and food should be unopened.

The rescue center’s holiday wish list includes Purina dog and cat food products, toys, treats, cat litter, paper towels, laundry detergent, large trash bags, sponges, and cleaning supplies.

Contributions can be dropped off at Englebright's office at 36 Route 25A between 10 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
