Jan. 20: Finding Comfort in the Cold
Here's what's happening Thursday in Three Village.

Whether it's getting you down – or a much larger issue like an illness or addiction – take comfort in knowing there are places in the community to turn to for support, and ways you can get involved and give back.
1. If you know a young adult between the ages of 18 and 30 struggling with a cancer diagnosis, then the may be just what he or she needs to help cope. The meeting is set for 7 p.m. at the Stony Brook University Cancer Center.
2. A handful of local religious organizations provide support group services for people with various needs. and are two of those organizations. SBCC offers twice-weekly and Church on the Sound hosts sessions.
