  1. Jazz Loft features Duke Ellington's Nutcracker on Thursday, Dec 15, at, 7 p.m. The songs will be performed by seventeen musicians of the Jazz Loft Big Band. Tickets: $35 for adults, $30 for seniors, $25 for students, $20 for children, and children under five are free. (Three Village Patch)

  3. A Port Jefferson woman was arrested for driving in the wrong way on Nesconset Highway on Saturday morning. Officials received a 911 call around 3 a.m. reporting that a 2020 Honda Civic was traveling the wrong way on the road. Police said the driver was intoxicated, and an arrest was made. (Smithtown Matters)
  4. A teen driver is facing assault charges for hitting two pedestrians intentionally. According to the police, the teen had a quarrel before the incident. The teens were taken to a local hospital to treat minor injuries. Officials said the driver will respond in court on an unknown date. (News12)

The staff noticed the tracker and contacted the family, who did not believe she had been found. The owner lives in Spain and Mimi is reuniting with her family. (Daily Voice)
  • " The Port Jefferson woman accused of shoving a well-known elderly voice coach, leading to her death days later, is expected to finish a psychological evaluation within the next month, Newsday reported." (Port Jefferson Patch)
