Letter to the Editor: Cast Your Vote for Deanna Bavlnka

It is with great pleasure that I write this letter in support of Deanna Bavlnka's re-election to the Three Village Board of Education. Deanna has served this community for the past year with dedication and commitment. She is probably the most hardworking board member I have ever worked with. She has been instrumental in developing the "blast" that keeps residents informed about events in the entire district. She keeps fellow board members informed with monthly district updates to share with the PTAs.

As a busy mother with children in the district, she still finds time to do extra research in the district to keep fellow board members informed. She brings business expertise to all discussions. Her insight was invaluable in our recent difficult budget development process. She is dedicated to maintaining our excellent school district in a fiscally responsible way. She is responsive to the community, but will never compromise our children.

She has been an asset to the Policy Committee, which I chair. As we work to refine old policies and develop new ones, her input has been invaluable.

I believe that Deanna Bavlnka is exactly the kind of Board of Education member that we need in these hard times. I support her re-election and I urge the community to vote on May 15.
