Live Results: Flood Leads Englebright For NYS Assembly District 4
The results are coming in for the race between incumbent Steve Englebright and challenger Edward Flood.

TOWN OF BROOKHAVEN, NY — Voters went to the polls on Tuesday to decide the NYS Assembly District 4 race between incumbent Steve Englebright (D) and the challenger, Edward Flood (R).
Here are the live results, last updated at 11:30 a.m. 82 of 85 districts have reported results.
- Edward Flood: 23,707 votes
- Steve Englebright: 22,734 votes
Englebright has held the office since 1992. Flood is looking to pull the upset over the longtime incumbent.

Suffolk County Board of Elections workers had difficulty loading memory cards needed to tally the vote, officials said late Tuesday.
The 4th State Assembly District covers Port Jefferson, Port Jefferson Station, Stony Brook, Setauket, Terryville, Belle Terre, Strongs Neck, Poquott, and parts of Coram, Selden, and Gordon Heights.
