Man Killed In Single-Car Long Island Crash
BREAKING: Police say he was ejected from his SUV after crashing into multiple trees Friday morning, police say.
STONY BROOK, NY – A 52-year-old man was killed in a single-car crash in Stony Brook Friday morning, police said.
According to Suffolk Police, Ian Brown was driving a 2000 Lincoln Navigator eastbound in a shopping center parking lot when it crossed Hallock Road just north of Route 347 and crashed into multiple trees at about 11:35 a.m.
Brown, of Medford, was ejected from the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene by a physician assistant from the Office of the Suffolk County Medical Examiner.
