At the April 26 Three Village Central School District Board of Education meeting, the Suffolk Zone of the New York State Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance presented the district with an honor for its recent participation in the Suffolk Zone conference. This past fall, Ward Melville High School hosted more than 1,000 physical education teachers to share and collaborate with one another at the annual conference.

Suffolk Zone President Lori Hewlett and past President Kerry Hogan thanked the district for its accommodations and presented Kevin Finnerty, executive director of health, physical education, recreation and athletics, with a plaque.
