What Questions Do You Have for the Candidates?

Whether it's the race for town council or county executive, let us know what questions you have for those running for office.

On Monday night, nine candidates for public office introduced themselves to the Three Village community at the monthly meeting of the Civic Association of the Setaukets and Stony Brook. Election day is a little over a month away, and the races for public office in many cases are in full swing.

Those candidates were:

  • Republican Angie Carpenter and Democrat Steve Bellone, who are running for county executive;
  • Republican Anthony Moncayo and Democrat Kara Hahn, who are running for county legislature;
  • Democrat Mark Lesko, who is being challenged by Republican Cecile Forte, who was not in attendance;
  • Democrat Steve Fiore-Rosenfeld and his challenger, Republican Ed Munoz;
  • Two candidates for district court judge, Anthony Parlatore and Vincent Martorana.
