- There is a lucky lottery winner in the neighborhood! A Power Play ticket worth $100,00 was sold in South Setauket on Wednesday! The sale was made at the Stop & Shop on Pond Path with the numbers 9-17-20-38-40 and the Powerball is 18. Read the whole story here. (Patch)

- Good news for those who enjoy attending music concerts in Port Jefferson! Port Jefferson-Northern Brookhaven Arts Council released the full schedule of the WinterTide Concert Series! The first session is set for Friday, Feb. 3, at 7 p.m. at Port Jefferson Village Center. Tickets are a donation of $5. (Port Jefferson Patch)
