Pub Crawl: Inside Last Call, Setauket's Newest Nightlife Spot
Raga Restaurant is now home to a new bar.
Situated at Raga restaurant at the corner of Old Town Road and Main Street in Setauket – and comfortably distanced from places like Velvet Lounge and Checkmate Inn – Last Call is Three Village's newest nightlife spot.
Co-owned by Laura Kessler and John Louis, two longtime local residents who have a combined 20 years of restaurant and bar experience between them, the bar already has a welcoming feel to it. "We try to keep everybody happy and keep a good vibe, keep it positive, which I think is really important in a bar atmosphere," Kessler says.
Kessler and Louis renovated the inside bar, located towards the front of the restaurant, and turned an under-used patio area into an outdoor bar. Kessler is a graphic designer who has added her own touches to the place – and Louis teaches bartending courses at Stony Brook University.

"There’s a whole other side to the bar business, and these guys bring that piece in for us. They bring that creativity... It marries us to the community, which is really what you want to do nowadays."
