Raga Indian Restaurant Scores Rave Review

On a recent Saturday night, writer Marcheline of the blog Mental Meatloaf visited in Setauket and had such a great experience, she decided to blog a review.

Her final analysis read: "Best Indian food I've had on Long Island, and we will definitely be going back!"

Among the food sampled was the plain dosa, the chicken tikka masala, and the Raga chicken masala. The review described the chicken dishes as perfectly cooked with a pleasantly thick, spicy sauce, complemented by a steamy, tender, aromatic basmati rice.

At 7 p.m. that Saturday night, the reviewer and her husband were seated without a reservation, and received service that was "attentive, friendly, and competent."
