School Starts, Civic Association Meeting This Week in Three Village

Welcome to a new week – a special one for Three Village kids, who go back to school on Monday. Read on for a preview of what the week will look like for Three Villagers.

- The Civic Association of the Setaukets and Stony Brook will begin holding regular monthly meetings once again. Monday's meeting is set for 7:30 p.m. at the Setauket Fire Department's Main Street fire house. The topic: "Stony Brook University – Today and Tomorrow."

- The Setauket Fire Department will hold its annual 9/11 candlelight vigil on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. at the memorial at its Nicolls Road fire house.

- The Three Village Central School District will hold a school board meeting on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. at the North Country offices.

- On Thursday, the Brookhaven town board will hold a regular town board meeting at 5 p.m.
