Setauket-East Setauket Had Largest Snowfall
Like other areas along the north shore, the hamlets had the most snow to clean up -- 8.7 inches, the National Weather Service says.

SETAUKET, NY — Friday's snowstorm packed a wallop along the north shore with the hamlets of Setauket and East Setauket gathering nearly nine inches of snow — the largest snowfall in Suffolk County.
Setauket and East Setauket both registered 8.7 inches of snow, according to the National Weather Service. Next the neighboring hamlet of Stony Brook, as well as Huntington Station and Dix Hills each registered 8.6 inches. Then Lake Ronkonkoma, St. James, Centereach, and Commack registered eight inches. Babylon registered 7.9 inches each. Miller Place and East Northport registered 7.8 inches, sharing the number five spot for highest Suffolk snowfall.

The highest snowfallf for the island was recorded at 9.3 inches in Glen Cove in Nassau County.
