Shoplifting Arrests at 3 Area Retailers

The following information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Suffolk County police provided the following arrest information. 

-Police said a Middle Island man stole clothing and food last weekend from Walmart in South Setauket.

The 51-year-old man was arrested by Suffolk County police on Nov. 26 and charged with petty larceny, a misdemeanor. According to police the man filled a cart with the items and left the store without paying.

-A Miller Place man was arrested in Setauket for stealing clothing from Kohl’s department store.

Police said the 21-year-old man stole sweaters and shirts on two different occasions from the retailer. Police arrested and charged him with petty larceny, a misdemeanor.

-Police said a Coram man stole an Xbox gaming system from the Target in South Setauket.

The 27-year-old man was arrested and charged with petty larceny, a misdemeanor on Nov. 19, according to police.
