Silver Alert Issued For Missing Suffolk Man With Dementia: Police
He left Sunday and has not returned, police say.

STONY BROOK, NY — Suffolk County Police have issued a Silver Alert for a missing Stony Brook man who they say has dementia.
Gregory Holmes, 76, was reported missing after he left his home, located at 41 Barker Drive, on August 11 at about 8:30 a.m. in his black 2008 Acura TSX (NY plate CEC 4082) and did not return, police said. He does not have a cell phone with him, police said.
Holmes is white, 6-feet, 4 inches tall, with a thin build and gray hair; he is balding and wears glasses, police said.
