  1. Assemblyman Fred W. Thiele Jr. criticized Stony Brook officials for allegedly not developing the Southampton campus property. In a recent statement to Newsday, Thiele called the university "the biggest slumlord on the East End.” In response, Stony Brook released a note addressing the institution's plans to extend the campus with future arts and science programs.   2. Three Village students are going to D.C. to participate in the National Science Bowl. The team competed against 23 teams in the national tournament on Feb. 3, taking first place! Good luck! (Three Village Patch)
  3. Stony Brook Symphony Orchestra will perform at Staller Center on Saturday, Feb. 18. The program features "The Dancing Moonlight Shostakovich," "Romeo and Juliet" and other classics conducted by Michelle Merrill. Find tickets at Staller Center. (Staller Center)

  • There will be a Bridal Show at Port Jefferson Meadow Club on Feb. 19. For those planning their big day or want to enjoy good food and a dance floor hosted during the event, visit the link I've shared to purchase tickets today!   • The Three Village CSD released a brochure with all continuing education courses for Spring 2023. There is a resident senior discount available. The good news is that if you are interested, you can sign up online. Access all the information here. (Three Village School District)
