SURVEY: How Do You Feel About the School Budget Process?

Heading into the home stretch of budget season, we ask you: how do you feel about the development of the 2012-2013 budget?
The Three Village board of education will vote to adopt a budget at its next meeting on April 17. That budget will be the culmination of several months of number crunching and workshops that saw dozens of community members and students speak up in support of the programs on the chopping block.

The district is planning for future savings by floating a resolution to separately fund . And at its most recent work session, the school board plowed through budget cuts and restorations to try to preserve as many academic programs as possible. Along the way, the administration has posted each of its budget presentations and documents at a central location on its website.
