1. The Three Village Chamber of Commerce hosts a seminar with the theme: "Great Schools Make Great Communities for Both Business and Residents." The Superintendent of Three Village School District Kevin Scanlon is the guest speaker at the event which starts at 11:45 a.m. at the new Luca Restaurant in Stony Brook. (Three Village CofC)
   
2. Drop in at any time on Saturday between noon to 3 p.m. at the Emma Clark Memorial Library to participate in the "Culper Spy Day Craft." All families and all ages of kiddos are welcome to join. (Emma Clark Library)
3. The Port Jefferson Ferry was evacuated due to a bomb threat on Tuesday at 1 p.m. The Bridgeport Police receive a call alert about a bomb on the ferry. No threat was found, and no arrests were made. (Port Jefferson Patch)
4. The trial for the murder of 8-year-old Thomas Valva has begun in Riverhead. Valva was left in an unheated garage in January 2020. NYPD officer Michael Valva and his then-fiancé Angela Pollina are facing murder charges and can receive 25 years in prison if convicted. (Long Island News 12)
