🌱 Three Village Daily: Fire Department Drive-In Movie Night + Events

1. The movie "Sandlot" will be on the screen at the Stony Brook Fire Department 4th Annual Drive-in movie night. The event will be held on Aug. 6, with gates opening at 6 p.m. Food and refreshments will be on sale at the site. (Patch Events)
2. An Osprey Platform Disk atop a utility pole was installed at West Meadow Beach on July 19. The announcement was made by Councilmember Jonathan Kornreich, who was at the site on Trustees Road. The Osprey has been returning to the same spot for a long time and has been growing a family in the area. (Patch)
3. Emma Clark Memorial Library will host a "Story Time and Crafts with Teens" program on Monday, Aug. 1, at 3 p.m. Kiddos aged 3 years- grade 3 are welcome to join our volunteer teenagers in a fun afternoon. (Emma Clark Library)
4. Nearby News: A unusual visitor was spotted on Boulevard Avenue in West Islip on Wednesday, July 27. The police department received a call from a resident who saw a loose wild bobcat at her property around 10:40 a.m. (NBC New York)
