2. Staller Center features the Starry Nights-spring, which is a recital directed by Colin Carr, who brings together world-class musicians from the Stony Brook University Department of Music. The recital is scheduled for Wednesday, March 30 at 7 p.m. (Stony Brook)

• A fire broke out at a Terryville home located on Ontario Street just before 5 a.m. on Sunday. According to the Suffolk police, the residents were able to escape to safety.
