1. The group Tom Manuel and Gospel Road will play at Frank Melville Park as part of the outdoor summer concerts series. The park is located at 1 Old Field Road in Setauket. The event starts at 5:30 p.m. on Aug. 7. (Patch)
2. Three Village School District student, Mia Goldin, participated in the cooking class program led by teacher Mrs. Pompania. As a result, Mia volunteered in the Cooking for Long Island Veterans, fixing French toast for those who served the country. (Three Village School District)
