  1. Stony Brook Village welcomed unique visitors last Saturday. Sweetbriar Nature Center friends participated in the Ward Melville Heritage Organization summer event. Four different animals were presented to the families. The center is a nonprofit located in Smithtown that rescues injured animals. (TBR News Media)
  2. The "Spoon Man" will be at the Emma Clark Memorial Library front law to host a comedy show for families. All are welcome to join the event at 4 p.m. Don't forget your chair or blanket and come out to enjoy the outdoors. (Patch)
  3. Nearby News: Preston Pavlo, 83, lost his life in a fatal crash in Coram on Tuesday Night. Pavlo crashed into a tow truck parked on Mooney Road at 7:30 p.m. Police are investigating the cause of the crash. (Port Jefferson Patch)
