1. Emma Clark Library hosts the "Relax and Paint: New Year's Celebration" via Zoom on
   Thursday, Dec. 29, at 7 p.m. Instructor Melissa will lead participants step by step into creating a festive New Year’s celebration scene in acrylic paint. Click here to register and check the list of supplies needed. (Emma Clark Library)
   
2. There is still some time left for those who want to attend the 'Stony Brook Harbor Walk: A Walker’s Paradise.' 3. Freezing temperatures on Long Island this holiday weekend can make the roads icy for drivers. Salt trucks have been working on the streets to help to improve the conditions, but if you have to be on the roads, watch out for black ice and slow down. (LI News12)
