4. Nearby News: Two police officers saved an infant who choked on candy in Coram. The incident happened on Jefferson Court at 2:35 p.m. The baby was not breathing when the police arrived. After back blows were administered, first responders could take the candy out of the child's mouth. Coram Fire Department took the infant to St. Charles Hospital in Port Jefferson.
