Toddler Found Unresponsive In Backyard Pool On Long Island: Police
A 2-year-old boy was found unresponsive in a backyard pool in Suffolk County. He has been hospitalized but is listed in serious condition.
CENTEREACH, NY — A 2-year-old boy was hospitalized Tuesday after he was found unresponsive in a backyard pool in Centereach, Suffolk County police said.
It happened shortly before 6:30 p.m. at a home on Barbara Drive.
Police say the toddler, who is related to the homeowners, was rushed to Stony Brook University Hospital and is listed in serious condition.

It is not immediately known how the boy ended up in the pool. But police say they are investigating the incident.
