For those who enjoy history, the Ward Melville Heritage Organization is hosting another session of the walking tour – “Winter Secrets.” The participants will walk around Stony Brook Village with a hot chocolate drink to keep it warm while listening to stories about famous residents, the arctic fever, the Polaris Whaleboat, and more! This walk will be hosted on Wednesday, Dec. 14, at 10:30 a.m. If you are interested in reserving a spot, you can call the WMHO at 631-751-2244. (TBR News Media)
