Woman Wanted For Selden Grocery Theft

Police looking for suspect who took $40 of items from Shop Rite.

Police are seeking a woman who stole groceries from a Selden Shop Rite last month.

The woman removed approximately $40 worth of items from the supermarket, located at 71 College Place, on Nov. 23, around 3:10 p.m., the Sixth Precinct reported.

She is described as white, heavyset, approximately 40-50 years-old, with dirty blonde hair. She was wearing a gray sweater and jeans the day of the robbery.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
